| Happy Valentine's Day to Kelly Clarkson and all KC fans on this wonderful website! I sincerely hope Miss Clarkson loved the Valentine's Day card and modest gift that I sent to her fan mail address. It's a gesture of love. Tonight, I'm going to see the new romantic comedy "Definitely, Maybe" at the local movie theater and pickup some take-out dinner on the way home. That's it. Nothing fancy. Besides, I don't have a girlfriend or hot date for February 14th. BTW: My Dad gave my Mom a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and VD card that sings "I've Got You Babe." Very sweet! In entertainment news: The WGA strike is finally over. Woo-hoo! It's about time! Two-and-a-half months of unemployment in Los Angeles. That sucks! My favorite CBS sitcom ("How I Met Your Mother") returns Monday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day). The luck of the Irish! Moreover, the Academy Awards ceremony will continue (as scheduled) on Sunday, February 24th. Only ten days away! I'm rooting for "Atonement" to win Best Picture. What an emotional sixty-minute episode of "American Idol" on Wednesday! I feel so sorry for the young homeless guy (estranged from family) who lived in his car and dreamed of being the next "American Idol." The three judges (Randy, Paula, and Simon) cut him from the Top 24. So sad! A tough decision. Hopefully, someone in the music business will give him a job and a place to stay. He desperately needs it! Thanks for reading my Thursday blog. Have a vibrant Valentine's Day, KC fans! Remember what the Beatles song said: "Love is all you need." Until Friday. Peace. P.S. A special Valentine's Day shout-out to Reba and Kelly: "Have fun at tonight's concert!" | |
